What is Website Monitoring?

Website monitoring is the process of testing and verifying that end-users can interact with a website or web application. Website monitoring are systems that allow you to track your website, or if the services of your host, housing or dedicated server working properly.

Why we need Website Monitoring?

So what do you do when you are stuck with such a problem, that is why you will need monitoring services to ensure that a website is available to users and downtime is minimized.

Website Monitors check the availability and performance of the pages of your Web application and the applications manager verifies that the pages of your website to be accessible. If they are not accessible, notifications are sent, and you can activate corrective actions. The function of monitoring the performance of Web sites check different attributes like response time. For example, you can add a URL to be monitored, as , its possible to set a threshold for a web page, so that if the load time of the page is more than 5 seconds, you will be notified by e-mail or SMS. The Monitor helps to take prompt action before the problem takes effect on end users.
By monitoring the URL, retrieves the Web page and its contents. The completion of the recovery of the page ensures that the web server is running properly. In addition to that, monitoring helps verify that the URL of the CGI script and the database back-end work properly.
